Hi folks,
We're meeting at Yahoo's 700 1st Ave building this Thursday. Tim Gerla of
Ansible will be our guest, speaking about Ansible IT orchestration and
configuration management software. Please plan to be there by 8pm at the
latest; we'll start a few minutes later than usual to allow our LSPE
friends to join us.
Security will be at the door facing the parking lot; hopefully there will
be less confusion about how to get to the meeting space. We will be
expanding the room to two rooms this time, with limited table space
available in the back.
If you have RSVPed and cannot make it, please come back to
http://www.meetup.com/BayLISA/events/63737112/ and change your RSVP status.
We will be opening more seats up but would like to make sure that everyone
who wants to attend has room to do so.
If you have time before BayLISA, LSPE, the Large Scale Production
Engineering group that meets across the street, will be hosting a
presentation on testing and debugging distributed systems. You can rsvp for
that session, which begins at 6pm, at

Next month we've got Eric Sammer of Cloudera and Alan Gates of Hortonworks
coming in to talk about the state of the Hadoop art. Details and RSVP at

Thanks,
Robert Novak
