[Apologies if you are on all 3 of our main lists (baylisa, baylisa-jobs, 
and baylisa-announce) and receive 3 copies of this.  BayLISA has a 
no-spam policy, so we don't send out individual reminders to folks to 
renew.  This message is our only way of reaching you at the current time.]

BayLISA Elections are coming up, and that means it's time to RENEW your 
membership (if you are in a position to do so).  You are not at all 
required to be a member to come to meetings, or to be on our mailing 
lists.  However, our paid membership is at an alltime low (less than a 
dozen people other than Board members), and lack of funding is limiting 
our ability to do things like bring in out of town speakers and pay 
professionals to do our nonprofit corporate filings.  We could use your 
support!

If you're in doubt as to your status, please renew or ask me to look up 
your expiration date!

Regular member: $45    Full-time student: $15   Corporate:  $500
Still unemployed for over a year?  We will RENEW you FREE, send me mail.

If you have already signed up as a new member via the web form at 
http://www.baylisa.org/cgi-bin/newentry.cgi but have not yet sent in 
your dues, please use PayPal to send them to "payment at baylisa.org" as 
soon as possible.

If you would like to renew, the easiest way to do it is to send your 
dues via PayPal, to "payment at baylisa.org".   If your email has changed 
and you'd like it updated, please indicate this when you send it in.

You can also mail a check to us at:

The PO Box is checked at least weekly, and will be checked the morning 
of the November meeting.  You could just bring a check to the meeting, 
but it would be much easier for us to if you did this in advance.
